my way to becoming VMware VCP, started several years ago. Back in 2011 when I was on a VMware course: Install, Configure, Manage [V4.1]
It was Frank Brix, who was teaching at the Danish distributor / training center Arrow-ECS.
I work a couple of years with VMware, where I had the task of virtualizing a serverfarm. here after my job ended and I had to find a new one. Today, I am Eltel Networks, where I now have the daily operations of our demo and development lab. and a role as a systems consultant.
in November 2013 I got an email that I could take a VMware VCA certification for free, which I took advantage of.
In February 2014, I was on vmware course: VMware vSphere: Fast Track [V5.1]
at time there was a new instructor Rasmus Haslund. of this course I was really keen to try to get vmware VCP.

Rasmus Haslund encouraged me after the course to read on so that I would have the opportunity to pass the VCP certification.
A month after my last course held Arrow ECS with a Vmware VCP boot camp, each one had the opportunity to get to fp highlighted some of the issues it was difficult. after this boot camp of 3-4 hours, it was possible to take the certification, which I did, and i passed.
